Raft Wars: Defend Your Treasure One Shot

A relaxing day at the beach turns into an unexpected battle in Raft Wars, a 2D physics-based shooting game created by Martijn Kunst. After young Simon discovers a valuable treasure buried in the sand, pirates and other enemies arrive to steal it. Armed with a tennis ball launcher, Simon and his brother must fight from their raft to keep the treasure safe. Each battle challenges you to adjust your shooting angle and power, knock enemies into the water, and survive incoming attacks. With colorful cartoon graphics, humorous characters, and increasingly difficult opponents, Raft Wars turns simple aiming mechanics into a tactical shooting adventure.

Take Aim in Turn-Based Raft Battles

Each level places Simon and his brother against a group of enemies on the water. Both sides take turns firing projectiles, so every shot is an opportunity to attack or gain a better position.

To shoot, adjust your aiming angle and power, then fire toward the opposing raft. Projectiles travel in an arc, meaning you must account for distance, height, and obstacles.

There are two ways to defeat an opponent: reduce their health through direct hits or knock them into the water. Well-placed shots can even bounce off surfaces or push enemies into one another. Clear every opponent to win the battle and advance to the next level.

Upgrade Your Raft and Arsenal

Winning battles rewards you with money, and using fewer shots can improve your earnings. Between levels, visit the shop to prepare for tougher enemies.

• Tennis Balls: Your basic, unlimited ammunition for regular attacks.
• Grenades: Explosive projectiles that can damage enemies grouped together.
• Rockets: Powerful ammunition for difficult targets.
• Raft Upgrades: Improve your floating platform and add extra allies to strengthen your team.

As the adventure continues, you'll face pirates, Vikings, and other treasure hunters with increasingly challenging positions and weapons.

PC:

• Mouse: Adjust shooting angle and power.
• Left Mouse Button: Aim and fire; drag and release in the HTML5 version.
• Mouse Click: Select weapons and purchase upgrades.

Mobile:

• Touch and Drag: Set shooting direction and power.
• Release: Fire.
• Tap: Select weapons and shop items.

Tips for Winning Raft Battles

• Adjust your aim gradually: After a missed shot, change the angle or power slightly instead of starting over.
• Target enemies near the edge: Knock them into the water to eliminate them quickly.
• Use grenades against groups: Explosions are more valuable when enemies stand close together.
• Save expensive ammunition: Use free tennis balls when a regular shot can finish the job.
• Upgrade your raft: Extra protection and allies can improve your chances in later battles.
