Undead Invasion
Overview of Undead Invasion
Undead Invasion is a zombie survival shooter built around escalating waves, resource management, defensive preparation, and the threat of losing an entire run. Each new day brings another undead attack, while successful survival earns cash that can be spent on weapons, training upgrades, healing items, traps, and barricades. Before the next wave begins, you choose a loadout and decide how to strengthen your defenses. The pressure comes from permadeath: once a normal run ends, the equipment and progress accumulated during that attempt are lost. Playground mode provides a less punishing alternative for experimenting with unlocked gear and defensive setups.
Core Gameplay Mechanic
Survive Escalating Zombie Waves
Undead Invasion follows a day-by-day survival structure. Early waves introduce the basic rhythm of movement, kicking, melee attacks, and shooting, but each new day increases the number and pressure of attacking zombies.
The challenge therefore grows through accumulation. A situation that is manageable against one or two enemies becomes much harder when several attack patterns overlap and leave less room to reposition or recover.
Earn Cash and Prepare Between Days
Surviving a wave gives you access to a preparation phase where money can be spent before the next attack. Available purchases include training upgrades such as Speed, Strength, and Kick Training, as well as healing items, firearms, melee weapons, barricades, and defensive tools.
This creates the game's central roguelike loop: survive → earn resources → buy equipment → prepare defenses → face a harder wave.
Because purchases affect what you can bring into the next day, spending decisions become part of survival rather than a separate upgrade menu.
Build a Loadout and Defensive Line
Before another wave starts, you can prepare primary and secondary weapons, melee equipment, armor or survivor gear, and defensive structures. Roadblocks and damage traps give you ways to shape how enemies approach instead of relying entirely on direct gunfire. Weapon variety also lets combat shift between ranged shooting, close-range melee, kicking, and explosive or defensive tools depending on what you have available.
Risk Everything or Experiment in Playground Mode
Normal runs carry a clear permadeath rule: death means losing everything collected during that attempt. At the end of a run, the game summarizes statistics such as days survived, kills, income, and current stat levels, which can then be compared through the leaderboard. Playground mode removes that pressure and allows unlocked weapons, traps, and layouts to be tested more freely. That makes it useful for understanding equipment without putting a full survival run at risk.

Undead Invasion Zombie Survival Tips
- Build defenses before later waves become crowded enough to overwhelm open ground.
- Spend resources on a balanced loadout instead of depending on only one weapon type.
- Use barricades and traps to slow or damage groups before they reach close range.
- Keep enough mobility to reposition when several zombies approach from overlapping directions.
- Treat Playground mode as a testing area for weapons and defensive layouts before relying on them in a permadeath run.
Undead Invasion turns every successful day into preparation for an even harder one. Build your defenses, choose your gear carefully, and see how many waves you can survive before the run finally collapses.
